Saturday we spent 4 hours and put just under 60 miles on our road bikes. Adventure time took us up Eureka Canyon (first time for me) - surrounded by redwoods and creeks, meadows, vistas, orchards, farms, and trees. Shady lanes and speckled sunshine, with 5,100 feet of climbing I was grateful for this beautiful place we call home every inch of the way.
Sunday was the first Norcal MTB race. We spent the day in the sun, watching hundreds of high school athletes compete. It's easy to believe in the future when you're surrounded by kids such as these.
